2009-10 Training Schedule

Training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with Frank Overton at Adcock Park, between 6.00 and 7.30pm for ages 12 and up. Frank is a level 4 ATFCA coach specialising in walks, distance, sprints, long and triple jumps.

Training with Kevin and Kirsty is Tuesday between 3.30 and 5.30pm for all age groups.

Welcome to the Gosford Little Athletics Centre

 

The committee, parents and athletes of the Gosford Little Athletics Centre would like to welcome you to our club.

 

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2010 - 2011 SEASON WILL BE ON FRIDAY 10TH AND 17TH SEPTEMBER 2010 AT ADCOCK PARK FROM 6PM UNTIL 8PM.  COST FOR FIRST CHILD IS $110, SECOND CHILD $100, THIRD CHILD $95. ANY OTHER CHILDREN FROM THE SAME FAMILY ARE   FREE.  ONLINE REGISTRATION IS STILL AVAILABLE (MORE INFO BELOW).  UNIFORM CAN BE PRE-PURCHASED AT ADCOCK PARK ON 17TH, 19TH, 24TH AND 26TH AUGUST BETWEEN 4PM AND 7.30PM. COST IS $30 PER ITEM.

 

A number of Committee positions are still vacant for the upcoming season. If you wish to fill these positions and help the Gosford Centre move forward, please feel free to contact me and ask about these positions.  The main positions are Treasurer, Equipment Officer and Assistant Fundraiser.

  REGO

  The cost is $110 for the first child, $100 for the second child and $95 for the third child. We currently do not have credit card facilities so payment must be cash or cheque.   Any further children in the same family are free.  If you are new to the Centre you must provide identification for your child in the form of a birth certificate or blue medical book. 

If you wish to register on line you can do so by going to the LAANSW website and following the prompts to register -> Gosford etc.   Once you have registered on line you need to attend Friday night competition to pick up your information pack and your personal Centre number.  Please ensure that you have a copy of your receipt to give to us on the night.

Monthly meetings - All meetings will now be held at the Kariong Community Church Centre which is on the corner of Woy Woy Rd and Milyerra Rd Kariong.  Entry to the premises is via Milyerra rd on the right side of the road and is the first driveway, about 30m from Woy Woy Rd.

Next meeting is Monday 19/07/10 at 7.30pm. .

NEW SPONSOR

Gosford Little Athletics has picked up a new sponsor in BSC (Body Science).  BSC supply compression clothing as displayed at the Presentation a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately, the compression pants cannot be worn at Representative carnivals but can be at Club level and for training purposes.  The compression clothing is excellent quality and is used by a number of NRL football teams as well as other prominent sporting teams and individual athletes.  The cost is far less than other compression clothing such as Skins and can be obtained by contacting Dave Roberts on 0411 495 897.  When the season starts Dave will be making a number of appearances throughout the season on a Friday night.
